SRFS loans are available to women aged 18-60 residing in rural or semi-urban areas of India, who are members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) or Joint Liability Groups (JLGs). Applicants must meet KYC requirements and demonstrate repayment capacity through income assessment and Credit Bureau checks
What are SRFS’s interest rates?
SRFS offers competitive interest rates, typically ranging from 18-24% per annum, based on loan type and risk assessment. Rates are disclosed in the loan application form, sanction letter, and on our website and branch premises. No pre-payment penalties are charged.
How can I file a complaint or seek grievance redressal?
You can file a complaint in person at any SRFS branch, via our toll-free number (1800-425-0508, 10am-6pm), or by emailing info@sanghamithra.org. Complaints are logged with a unique number and resolved within 7 days. Escalate unresolved issues to our Grievance Redressal Officer or Sa-Dhan’s helpline.
How do I apply for a loan with SRFS?
To apply, visit an SRFS branch or contact our field staff through your SHG. Submit KYC documents (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.) and complete the loan application form. Applications are processed within 3 weeks, with a sanction letter and repayment schedule provided upon approval.
What repayment frequencies are available?
SRFS offers flexible repayment options: weekly, biweekly, or monthly, based on your cash flow. Monthly repayments are the default for most loans. A 30-60 day moratorium is provided between loan sanction and the first installment.
What additional support services does SRFS offer?
Beyond loans, SRFS provides financial literacy workshops, skill training through CSR initiatives, and health insurance (Hospi Shield). Our Mahila Sahaya Support Service offers digital/telephonic assistance for repayment reminders and training needs.
